Desperate Desperadoes
It hasn't been a good year for Jason Witten's mother.
Nor has been a good year for the Dallas Desperadoes. Hey, the Dallas Mavericks can relax!
Not that anyone really cares becaues it's Arena Football, but when your team goes 15-1 in the regular season and gets bounced in the first round of the playoffs by a sixth seed that didn't even have a winning record ... well, let's face it, if it were the Cowboys, Rangers, Stars or (ahem) Mavs, heads would roll.
And another thing, this is the second year in a row that this has befallen the Desperadoes. Plus, the lease is up for the team at the American Airlines Center (why aren't these games at Reunion Arena?). So maybe Dallas won't need to suffer through another first-round debacle because they could be in Oklahoma City or Jacksonville.
Anyway, if head coach Will McClay is still there next year, then something's wrong.
