Rowand and Fukumori news

The Giants swooped in and signed Aaron Rowand. At this point, the Rangers should be looking at Mike Cameron or go internal with David Murphy or Marlon Byrd for centerfield.

Also, it seems the Rangers contract to Fukumori is a very modest two years, $3 million.

All signs are still pointing to 2009.

In other news, the Rangers signed seven minor league free agents including Oklahoma RedHawk reliever Franklyn German, who should get a look for the bullpen this season.

Also, all the fans who were into the Rangers building up young players and playing for 2009 and 2010 e-mail T.R. Sullivan as to why they're not trading the farm for Dontrelle Willis and others.
