Well, Rangers fans, you can't win them all.

The Oakland A's brought the Rangers down a notch with a 12-6 loss breaking a 5-game winning steak. Of course, the Rangers won the series. Something to hang your hat on. That's five straight series won by the Rangers.

It was a frustrating loss. Not that the Rangers should've won, but once they were down 4-0 in the first inning and then coming all the way back to take a lead. It was inspiring. Somehow, these goofballs were going to dick around and win this game. Then the bullpen rolls through and just can't stop the A's.

Can't bitch too much because the bullpen's been the savior the last two weeks and they've had to bail the team out more than a few times recently. No thanks to Sidney Ponson who looked like the Ponson of old, except not punching Aruban judges. He couldn't throw a strike and constantly pitching from behind.

It's sad; it's a litmus test for the fans of a bad team, who have fallen upon good times. Everyone's waiting for the other shoe to fall. Ponson first. Then Scooter Feldman and Vicente Padilla ...
