Top 10 'Hard Knocks' moments at Cowboys camp

TO: "Loving me some me"
Not that the Dallas Cowboys off-season has been boring, it's just been ... dumb.

Over the past three months, there have been probably a dozen non-draft Cowboys tidbits that I haven't blogged on. Not that this blog the end-all, be-all of Cowboys news and opinions, but, geez, those dozen stories are really idiotic and if it involved a Tampa Bay Buccaneer rather than a Cowboy, it'd be a non-story.

You have Tony Romo going Hollywood and singing and golfing.

Terrell Owens is making his acting debut. And, no, it's not a porno.

Roy Williams is whining about his role in the defense (see: tackling, coverage, etc.).

And the team's renaming streets for its new home.

But the big news is that the Cowboys will be the feature team in the upcoming season of HBO's "Hard Knocks," a documentary-type show that goes behind the scenes of a NFL team every year. With that said, the top 10 things the "Hard Knocks" cameras should pick up:

10. Roy Williams just wondering if he fits in anywhere (cue after-school special music).

9. Wade Phillips gunning down a critter. Probably possum.

8. About 3,000 shocked Dallas Cowboys fans at training camp realizing the team re-hired Dave Campo.

7. Tony Romo smirking into the camera explaining that he's just there to play football and the media plays up the extraneous stuff because they have nothing better to do.

6. Terrell Owens.

5. Pacman ... oops Adam Jones behaving. Not making it rain.

4. Defensive end Greg Ellis bitching about his contract and wondering if the Cowboys are truly invested in him. Demands new contract.

3. Assistant coach Jason Garrett measuring the dimensions of Wade Phillips' office.

2. Owner/GM Jerry Jones running offensive drills.

1. Terrell Owens.
