Tom Grieve is back

Tom Grieve is back. Nothing against Vic Rojas, but it's good to have TAG back, kicking prostrate cancer's ass. Rojas can't do this:

(From the April Seattle Mariners/Texas Rangers brawl, started by Richie Sexson)

As Sexson leaves the field: “If Kason Gabbard’s gonna hit anybody, he’s gonna hit one of their good hitters, he’s not gonna hit Richie Sexson… You got a chance to hit Ibanez, you got a chance to hit Beltre, two good hitters. You got a guy coming up there that can’t hit water if he fell out of a boat, and you think he’s gonna throw at him?”

On Sexson: “If he doesn’t get suspended for a week for that gutless move, I will be completely shocked. Number one, for charging the mound on a pitch that wasn’t even close, and then getting 20 feet away, and throwing the helmet at him like a girl. Not to denigrate girls, I don’t think a girl would do that.”

On Felix Hernandez, who was more upset than anyone during the brawl: “You know what he’s upset about? He’s gotten bombed his last three times out there. The Yankees got 12 hits off him, and the Rangers have five hits and four runs against him. He’s getting beat, that’s what he’s upset about.”

After Miguel Cairo walked to finish Sexson’s at-bat: “He wouldn’t have walked Sexson, he just would’ve gotten him out.”

When Franklyn German (6′7”, 260) came in to replace Kason Gabbard two batters later: “I’d like to see if Franklyn German threw that pitch, what Sexson would’ve done. He wouldn’t have charged the mound if Franklyn was out there.”

After play-by-play man Josh Lewin said “You, my friend, are gonna be a star on YouTube tomorrow”: “Yeah, I probably said way too much.”
